How Leagues of Votann play

The Leagues of Votann are a compact, elite, shooting-focused army built around durability and precision. Their infantry are tough for their cost, their weapons are efficient, and their Judgement token mechanic means the army becomes progressively more accurate against targets it has already engaged.

That marking mechanic is the faction's identity. The first exchange with an enemy unit is ordinary; the second is significantly better. Played well, Votann force a sequence where each turn is better than the last against the targets that matter.

The roster is one of the smallest in the game, which makes list building comparatively simple — there are fewer decisions, and the ones there are matter more.
