Yes! GrimSlate fully supports 11th Edition, including Detachment Points, every detachment with its enhancements and stratagems, and the latest Munitorum Field Manual points. You can convert your existing 10th Edition rosters with one click, and 10th Edition data remains available if your group still plays it.

Yes! GrimSlate is completely free to use with no hidden costs or paywalls. We may introduce optional premium features in the future, but the core army building functionality will always remain free and accessible to everyone.
Where does the data come from?
All game data is sourced from the community-maintained BSData project (github.com/BSData), including 11th Edition points synced with the official online Munitorum Field Manual. The data is kept up-to-date by dedicated volunteers from the Warhammer community, ensuring accuracy with the latest points updates and rules.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required to use the app! Your army lists are saved locally in your browser. However, creating a free account unlocks cloud sync across devices, favorite units (save up to 50!), public roster sharing with unique URLs, and a personal profile page - perfect for sharing your lists or getting feedback from the community.
Do I need an internet connection?
GrimSlate works entirely offline once loaded. It's a Progressive Web App (PWA) that you can install on your device. Perfect for gaming stores or tournaments with spotty WiFi - just load it once and you're good to go!
