How Adepta Sororitas play

The Adepta Sororitas play as a fast, aggressive mid-board army with a resource economy no other faction has. Miracle Dice are generated by events during the game and then spent to replace a dice roll with a known value — which turns the army's decisions from probabilistic into deterministic at exactly the moments that matter. Knowing you will pass a save, or make a charge, changes what you are willing to risk.

The units themselves are lightly armoured infantry with above-average offence, backed by fast vehicles and some of the most efficient flamer-pattern weapons in the game. You want to be in the middle of the table on turn two, contesting, with your Miracle Dice pool healthy.

Managing the pool is the skill. Spending dice early to win a fight you would probably have won anyway leaves you nothing for the roll that decides the game.

Building a Adepta Sororitas army list

Build for the mid-board. Sororitas lists that try to play a static shooting game waste the army's speed and generate fewer Miracle Dice, because generation rewards action.

Take deliberate anti-tank. It is the most common gap in a first Sororitas list — the army's default weapons are excellent against infantry and merely adequate against armour.

Transports matter more here than in most armies. Six Dedicated Transports are permitted per army and they sit outside the duplicate limit; getting Battle Sisters into the middle intact is most of the plan.
