Tier List Overview

S-Tier (Meta Defining)

These factions are the ones to beat. Expect to face them at every competitive event.

1. Aeldari

Win Rate: 55%
Representation: High
Why S-Tier: Exceptional mobility, psychic dominance, and trading efficiency. Strands of Fate alone makes them incredibly consistent.

2. Dark Angels

Win Rate: 54%
Representation: Medium-High
Why S-Tier: Deathwing + Lion creates an unkillable fortress. The best defensive army in the game.

A-Tier (Very Strong)

Excellent choices that can win any tournament with the right pilot.

3. Chaos Space Marines

Win Rate: 52%
Representation: High
Why A-Tier: Abaddon + Possessed is one of the best deathstars. Dark Pacts provide crazy damage output.

4. Necrons

Win Rate: 51%
Representation: Medium
Why A-Tier: Hypercrypt teleportation and Reanimation make them incredibly slippery and resilient.

5. Tyranids

Win Rate: 50%
Representation: Medium
Why A-Tier: Monster-heavy lists trade incredibly well. Synapse provides army-wide buffs.

B-Tier (Competitive)

Solid factions that regularly see top finishes.

6. Adeptus Custodes

Win Rate: 49%
Representation: Medium
Why B-Tier: Elite infantry remains good, but struggles against high burst damage.

7. Space Marines (Generic)

Win Rate: 48%
Representation: Very High
Why B-Tier: Versatile and forgiving, but lacks the spike potential of S-tier.

8. Orks

Win Rate: 48%
Representation: Medium
Why B-Tier: Speed Freeks and Green Tide both viable. Fun and competitive.

9. World Eaters

Win Rate: 47%
Representation: Low-Medium
Why B-Tier: Angron is terrifying, but the army is one-dimensional.

10. Death Guard

Win Rate: 47%
Representation: Low
Why B-Tier: Extremely durable but lacks damage output.

C-Tier (Viable)

Can compete but require more effort and matchup knowledge.

11. T'au Empire

D-Tier (Struggling)

Playable but facing an uphill battle in competitive play.

Why D-Tier: Too fragile for the current durable meta.

17. Genestealer Cults

Win Rate: 43%
Representation: Very Low
Why D-Tier: High skill ceiling but inconsistent results.

18. Imperial Knights

Win Rate: 42%
Representation: Low
Why D-Tier: Too few models to compete on objectives.

Win Rate: 42%
Representation: Very Low
Why D-Tier: Similar issues to Imperial Knights.

20. Leagues of Votann

Win Rate: 41%
